Salt 'n' Pepper King Prawns

Who doesn't love prawns? And in all fairness you have to be a little bit barmy to not love Salt 'n' Pepper  Prawns! This easy yet tasty recipe is an absolute favourite of mine. It doesn't matter what pan-asian restaurant I visit, or take out I order, I have to have it.

Now that I've taken it upon my self to learn how to make it, theres no stopping me now! lol

WARNING: Ridiculously addictive, sharing is not caring in this case.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Serves: 1-4 (lol)

Raw King Prawns

2 Eggs

50g Plain Flour

30g Cornflour

20g Baking Soda

Rock Salt

Chilli Flakes

Spring Onion

Dried Herbs

Olive Oil

Mix Plain flour, Cornflour and baking soda together. Add 1/2 tbsp salt

Crack an egg into the bowl and beat it roughly

Put 1/3 mixed flour in to egg mixture and gently mix.

Then add an additional 1/3 flour and mix.

And finally add the last 1/3 flour and mix.

Important: Lumps in the flour is completely fine.

Dip Prawns into batter mix and then deep fry in olive oil

Lay onto kitchen tissue to absorb any excess oil

Slice chilli flakes, chopped garlic, spring onions and using the chilli flakes, salt and pepper, garnish prawns.
